Favourite season

My favourite season in Japan is definitely spring. The weather is nice and the cherry blossoms bloom. I love cherry blossoms. We do not have them in Australia (not in normal areas anyway)and we definitely do not have “hanami”.
Queensland the area I am from does not really have seasons- we have summer for 9 months then 3 months of spring like/autumn like weather which is quite mild but a bit cold at night.
Where I am from we do have jacaranda trees – a purple flower- which blooms in November. They are really pretty but not as pretty as cherry blossoms.
