Karaoke

In 2008 I lived in Tokushima, Japan and taught English to children and teenagers. While I was there I had the good fortune to meet other Native English speakers teaching English to Japanese students. An integral part of the Japanese experience was to become involved in karaoke. Some of the English teachers I met became fluent in Japanese and participated in Japanese singing contests. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same thing for me!  But I did give it a good try while I was there and I did brush up on my karaoke skills. Do you go to karaoke? Which karaoke bars do you go to?
