A Special Place to Me

I travel a lot, but my favorite place is Thailand. I lived in Thailand for 3 years teaching English. Now I travel there every year. I usually stay for 3 or 4 months. It is a very beautiful country. I stay in the south on an island called Koh Yao Noi.

Koh Yao Noi has beautiful beaches and not many tourists. It is quiet and the people are very friendly. Most of the people there are Muslim in religion. This is common in the south of Thailand. They celebrate Muslim holidays, and dress in Muslim clothes. It is different from other parts of Thailand.

The biggest industry on this island is rubber. There are many rubber plantations.
