Road Tripping in the U.S.

Right now I am on a road trip in the United States. Road tripping is very popular here. People take time to drive slowly across the country visiting various places along the way.

I started from Michigan, and first went to Pittsburgh to visit a friend. Now I am in North Carolina visiting another friend. From here I will drive to Tennessee then I’ll continue west until I get to California. During this trip, sometimes I’ll stay with friends, and sometimes I’ll camp.

I will only stay in a hotel if I have to. This helps to make the trip cheaper. I am driving alone, but I have made plans to meet up with many friends along the way. I plan to spend about three months on the road.

I think this is a great way to see my own country. The United States is a huge country. There are so many interesting and beautiful places to see here. I love traveling abroad, but I also appreciate traveling right here at home.
