Where I live

I live in Chile in South America. I live about 40 kms from Santiago the capital of Chile. The area I live in is called the Cajon del Maipo. It is in The Andes which is the longest land mountain range in the world. It passes through seven countries and is over 7,000 km long.
Chile is often called a third world country, after living here for nearly three years I think that is wrong. Chile is more like the poorer countries in Europe like Portugal or Greece than say the really poor countries in Africa. Although there is still a lot of poverty in Chile.
