American family visit

Last month, my mother, sister, and nephew come to Japan to visit for one week.

They wanted to see different aspects of Japan, so we drove to the top of Mt. Akagi in Gunma. This is a popular place for ice fishing on the frozen lakes. Then, later in the week they saw Ueno Park, Harajuku, and Shibuya- a big contrast to Mt. Akagi!

We also ate out at various kinds of restaurants such as Italian cuisine from a Japanese perspective.

Having the two grandmothers together is always interesting because neither can speak the others language. Their granddaughter has to translate!
