My Sister’s Wedding!

I have been very busy recently! My sister got married on Saturday!
I am the youngest in my family, with two older brothers and one older sister. My sister is only two years older than me while my brothers are 5 and 7 years older than me, so I’ve always been closer with my sister than I am with my brothers. Here’s a picture of us at the wedding.
Weddings in USA are great. Traditionally, they are held on Saturdays in the early afternoon. First we have a ceremony. That is when the bride and the groom become wife and husband. After that, we meet for the wedding reception around dinner time. All of the guests eat together and we have some special customs, and then we dance and drink and laugh. It’s great!
But some of my friends who are familiar with Japan told me that Japanese weddings are very expensive for guests. Is that true?
