イスラエルでは英語はどのように教えられているの?

In Israel students prefer speaking lessons (conversation classes) than actually studying out of textbooks or learning grammar 'by heart' (memorizing.) Although going to a school and attending a lesson with a group of students is a common practice, there are many students, those who are "better off" (have more money) who prefer one-on-one lessons. Online lessons are not common at all because students in Israel prefer to see the teacher in person.

The strong point of Israeli students is their need to constantly learn new words, thus expanding their vocabulary. They also like it when I correct their errors immediately. This way, they memorize the new word or grammar correction faster than if they were to write it down and study at home.

The weak point of Israeli students is their lack of self-confidence when speaking. Israeli students are afraid to make a mistake and sometimes prefer to keep quiet than to speak freely during our lessons.
